Durban home fraudster due in court on Friday

A 54-year-old woman who allegedly sold a house that did not
belong to her in Durban North is due to line up in court on Friday.
She is facing charges of fraud.
Hawks officials say the property belongs to the National Department of Public Works, and that KZN's police commissioner lives there.
Spokesperson Simphiwe Mhlongo says the woman alleged to have sold the home to a man who was looking to buy property in 2020.
Mhlongo says she was paid R2.2 million.
"When the complainant was passing by the same property that he claims as his because he paid for it, he noticed the house was being renovated.

"He was told that the house belongs to the National Department of Public Works. To make matters worse the house is where the provinical commissioner of police is residing at.
"A case of fraud was then reported at Durban North police station for intensive investigation."
