Durban harbour remains off limits as clean-up operation underway
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
eThekwini says it's still urging people to stay clear of the harbour. It says though its beaches remain safe for bathers.

This after a major sewage leak into the Port of Durban last week.
Clean-up operations have since begun with about 20 percent of the harbour's water believed to be affected.
The municipality says a pump that will help stop the discharge into the harbour will arrive today and will be installed immediately.
Officials say foreign objects entered the system - causing the pumps to fail.
"These are imported pumps - and can't be sourced from South Africa. Unfortunately, four other pumps went down in a short space of time and we are trying to repair them. It takes time to import these from overseas. We have managed to source some spares which will eliminate the overflows," eThekwini's Dave Wilson said.
