Durban floods: eThekwini officials, Ramaphosa to discuss housing project

eThekwini officials are set to meet with President Cyril Ramaphosa to discuss the rollout of housing projects for the city's poor.
Seventeen families who lost their homes in the April floods were given building material on Monday, after sharing a tent for months in Reservoir Hills. This is as part of the municipality's flood relief programme.

Chairman of Human Settlements and Infrastructure Thanduxolo Sabelo says six months is a long time to wait for assistance following the floods.
The disaster caused R600 million worth of damage.
