Durban family loses home in fire
A Warner Beach family has been left with nothing after their home went up in flames on Thursday night.
Ian Walker has told Newswatch about the moment he, his wife and their 9-year-old son received a call from a neighbour telling them that there was a fire at their Orbell Lane home, south of Durban.
By the time they returned - the house was completely engulfed by the blaze.
Walker says the ordeal still has not sunk in.
"The reality of what happened has not set in yet, but I think as we try and go on with our lives each day it will be come real", he said.
