Durban elderly woman's lucky escape
An elderly woman escaped with minor injuries after a car crash in Durban North.
Crisis Medical says the grandmother - believed to be in her seventies - collided with a truck while driving along Riverside Road this afternoon.
When emergency services arrived on the scene they found the woman trying to free herself from the wreckage of her car.
She was treated on scene but she refused to be taken to hospital by paramedics.
It's not known what caused the crash.
