Durban Day tragedy: calls for govt intervention
Updated | By Zongile Mthimkhulu
Neighbours of the Durban teenager who was stabbed to death at East Coast Radio's Durban Day concert have called on government to intervene in curbing youth violence.

Montreal King from Newlands East died allegedly after a scuffle broke out between two groups at the music concert earlier this month.
The 19-year-old was laid to rest on Saturday. His neighbour, Gogo MaZondi says it's tragic he's had to die in this manner and at such a young age.
"We feel sorry for the family because this is waste - maybe he was going to be doctor or a lawyer or a member of parliament. Now, everything is wasted. Government must do something about this crime," she said.
Two suspects arrested in connection with King's death remain in custody and are due back in court on Thursday.
