Durban crashes leave 5 hurt

A woman is in a critical condition following a head-on collision on Meridian Drive in Umhlanga this afternoon.
After the two vehicles collided - one of them proceeded to crash through the glass window of a car dealership.
Netcare 911 paramedics treated the seriously injured patient and thereafter transported her through to a hospital.
In a separate accident a pedestrian was knocked over by a car on Garth Road in Durban.
Meanwhile, three people, among them two young children have sustained injuries in another accident which happened on the R102 in Umgababa.
Paramedics treated them on scene before taking them to a nearby hospital.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of all three accidents.
