KZN police have launched
a manhunt for the gunmen behind three robberies, all carried out in Durban on
Wednesday

In the first incident, a security guard was shot and wounded when armed attackers opened fire on a cash van parked at a petrol station in Mobeni Heights.
Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says robbers later fired several shots at a cash-in-transit vehicle at the intersection of Dumisani Makhaye and Ulwandle Street in KwaDabeka.
"It is reported that the suspects fired several shots at the vehicle until it reached a standstill. An undisclosed amount of money and three firearms belonging to the security guards were stolen.

"The suspects abandoned a van at the scene and investigations have confirmed that the vehicle was probably stolen in Malvern - in May last year."
Netshiunda says security guards and staff were also held up at a post office in Umbumbulu, south of Durban. The culprits fled with money, phones and laptops. A security guard was injured.
