Durban activists march in solidarity with Palestine

A group of activists who marched in Durban say hope is the only thing keeping the people of Palestine going.

Saturday's demonstration was organised by the United for Palestine Coalition Group.
Minister of Water and Sanitation Senzo Mchunu also joined the march.

" It is about our never ending support for the people of Palestine and by extension, oppressed people of the world. Humanity has not let you down, people in the tip of Africa and people around the world are not going to let you down."
On Friday, The Jewish Board of Deputies joined the South African Union of Jewish Students in a protest outside the Sandton Convention Centre.
It took place where International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor was scheduled to give the keynote address at the Global Anti-Apartheid Conference on Palestine.
