Dube-Ncube wants immediate change at embattled KZN school
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
Co-operative Governance MEC, Nomusa Dube-Ncube has demanded a turn-around strategy for Masakhaneni High School, in KwaMakhutha, south of Durban.

Two pupils were stabbed to death on the premises last year.
During a visit to the troubled school yesterday, it emerged that Masakhaneni's been plagued by various staff issues in recent years and that there are currently only seven teachers working there.
The school governing body has also been disbanded and a new one is yet to be constituted.
"We want a commitment from you - when are the teachers coming here and when are the elections for the new governing body. The teachers that are here must tell us what are the challenges that they're facing. We are going to sort this problem once and for all," Dube-Ncube said.
