Dube-Ncube meets with SA's Consul-General in New York

Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube says her meeting with South Africa's Consul-General in New York mainly revolved around trade and economic growth.
Dube-Ncube met with Dr Motumisi Tawana in the US on Friday.
The provincial government says the talks were part of efforts to position KwaZulu-Natal as an attractive investment destination.
The premier's spokesperson Lennox Mabaso says they also spoke about climate change.

"Provinces and developed countries like ours are beginning to feel the devastating impact of the three consecutive flooding incidents in 2017, 2019 and the worst of them all 2022.
"Economies of the future and the future industries - there are news systems of trade and development. As we are fighting climate change and putting measures in place to save the planet and KZN is at the center of that process."
