Drunk driving cases remain high: Durban Metro
Updated | By Sandile Zikhali
Durban Metro Police say getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol remains a problem.

More than 130 people were arrested for drunk driving in eThekwini at the weekend.
The unit says officers were stationed across central Durban and the rest of the municipality - with thousands of revellers flocking to the city for a number of sporting and social events.
Spokesperson, Glen Ndlovu says drunk driving is a major issue.
"Nothing major has been reported in terms of theft or robberies. The sheer fact that we were able to obtain such a large number of stats in terms of drunken driving shows the police presence across the inner city," Ndlovu said.
