Driving tips for wet roads in KZN
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
While emergency services will be on standby to respond to any emergencies, here are tips for motorists ahead of this weekend.

Drivers are being urged to take precautions on the roads where possible.
- Slow down and drive with caution - in the case of heavy rain and limited visibility.
- Make sure that your windscreen wipers are in good condition.
- Keep your lights on, keep a substantial travelling distance to the person in front of you.
- Do not use the car to navigate on roads that are flooded - heavy rains could make you lose control of the vehicle.
- If heavy rains continue, listen to the news, weather forecasts and traffic updates.
- Stay indoors as much as possible unless you have to travel.
