Driver killed after crashing into palm tree in Durban

A man's died after crashing his car into a palm tree in Durban central.
EMER-G-MED spokesperson Kyle van Reenen says the accident happened just before Thursday midday on Margaret Mncadi Avenue.
"On arrival on scene a Toyota Yaris was found to have left the roadway and crashed into a palm-tree.
"A male motorist aged approximately fifty years old was found in a state of cardiac arrest.
"CPR resuscitation efforts were attempted however the man was declared dead on the scene."
