Driver dies after truck overturns in Durban
A truck driver has been killed after the vehicle he was driving overturned on the M7 near the Umbilo arterial route.
Paramedics say the man and a passenger were trapped in the wreckage on the Durban-bound side on Tuesday morning.
Firefighters used the jaws of life to free the pair from the truck, but the driver who had suffered critical injuries died on the scene.
Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson says another man was seriously hurt.
"At this stage the events leading up to the accident is unknown, however, the SAPS are on scene and will be investigating further," he said
