At least 254 people, 43 of them children, have been killed in Colombia after devastating mudslides smashed into the city of Mocoa.

Heavy rains caused three converging rivers to overflow - triggering landslides of mud and debris at the weekend. The landslides swept away homes, bridges, vehicles and trees, leaving piles of wrecked timber.
More than 200 residents have been injured in the disaster.
