Don't panic! Message saying teacher jabs ending tomorrow 'fake news'
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The KwaZulu-Natal Education Department says a message doing the round on social media, indicating that Friday is the last day for educators to get vaccinated in the province, is fake news.

The WhatsApp message says that tomorrow, Friday 25 June, will be the last chance for educators to be inoculated and that those scheduled for the jab on Monday will now have to come in tomorrow at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital.

The department's spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi said: "We want to refute [the message], it is not true."
"The vaccination programme goes up to the 8th of July. So we are saying to our educators and the staff that they must not panic.
"The vaccination programme will go as it was planned starting from 23 June up to 8 July."
