“Don’t evict students” urges NSFAS
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Student financial aid scheme, NSFAS, has made a plea to landlords who are still owed payments to not evict students.
It's promised all valid claims will be settled in the next 10 days.
This after the scheme's Administrator, Freeman Nomvalo consulted with landlords who raised concerns of outstanding payments of student accommodation allowances.

NSFAS spokesperson, Ishmael Mnisi, says a bulk payment of accommodation allowances was already made at the beginning of this month.
"These interventions are intended to provide much-needed relief to private accommodation student landlords. Landlords who did not submit their claims for outstanding payments are still encouraged to refer their enquiries.
“The NSFAS administrator reiterates its calls to all T-vet college students to submit their bank accounts on the NSFAS portal to avoid delays in the payments of their allowances."
