Graca Machel says she's considering suing Durban-born Dr Vejay Ramkalan who published the book, Mandela's Last Years, which claims to be the true story of Madiba's final journey.

But, family and friends say that the publication may be in breach of doctor and patient privilege.

This week, former Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke lashed out at  Dr. Ramkalan.

Speaking in Nelson Mandela Bay, Moseneke said that Ramkalan's book was in bad taste.

"I'm sharing this with you with great distress and I share this distress with Graca Machel and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela about the kind of disclosure a doctor does. It's a medical practitioner attending to a patient - elderly and vulnerable. It's just not done, it's in bad taste ," he said.
