Destructive rainfall, thunderstorms to hit KZN on Tuesday

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) says there is going to be heavy showers over KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday, with the skies only clearing up on Thursday.

Over 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is expected on Tuesday.
The services' forecaster Wisani Maluleke says there is also an impact-base warning of destructive rainfall over KZN.
"We are expecting localised flooding susceptible to informal settlements and low-lying bridges.
"We are also expecting difficult driving conditions of our roads due to this localised flooding.
He says on Wednesday, 30 percent chance of showers are expected in the morning.
"That will be along our coastal areas and northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
"Moving into Thursday, it will be mostly be fine weather conditions and going into Monday next week."
The weather service couldn't confirm whether there has been any snowfall.
