Decrease in crimes this festive season - police

National police say there's been a decrease in crime during the festive season.
This comes after police wrapped up there annual countrywide Festive Season Inspection Roadshow.
The roadshow included multi-disciplinary police operations aimed at detecting and preventing crime.
Officials say provinces have reported little to no major crime.
Meanwhile, Durban's metro police say they are proud to see no major arrests for irresponsible driving during these holidays.
"We had no major incidents reported during the past Christmas holidays," says spokesperson Boysie Zungu
"Our motorists drove responsibly. High visibility of police on freeways, central CBDs and around the beach made no room for criminals."
