De Lille survives no confidence vote
Updated | By Heart FM News
City of Cape Town mayor, Patricia de Lille has survived a motion of no confidence in her leadership. The Cape Town City Council finished voting on the matter just before 1pm.

The motion, bought by the DA against its own senior party member, failed.
110 councillors at the civic centre voted 'no' against the motion.
109 voted 'yes'.
As such, De Lille remains in the mayor's office by one vote.
However, her political future could still be in doubt. The DA's Federal Executive is investigating allegations of mal-administration levelled against her.
