Daytime load shedding reprieve on Tuesday
Updated | By Newswatch
Load shedding has been suspended until Tuesday afternoon.

Eskom says it's been able to do so because of fewer unit breakdowns and an improvement to its power generation capacity.
This means there will be no power cuts until 4pm.

After that, stage 3 load shedding will resume and continue until 5am on Wednesday.
"Eskom is closely monitoring the system performance and will communicate a further update this afternoon," says spokesperson Daphne Mokwena.
