A Tongaat woman, whose mother was killed by a man who had worked for her family for more than a decade, says two years on - she still misses her terribly.
Dominic Cebisa was yesterday convicted of murdering 91-year-old Ragama Naidu - for airtime, a carton of cigarettes and a six pack of beers. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Naidu's daughter, Vee, says her mother doted on her.
"She was my pillar of strength. She lived with me for ten years. I've never washed a dishcloth for the past ten years - she did everything for me," she said.
Vee says her mother was fit and healthy.
"She was fit and read all newspapers without glasses. I was so proud of my mum. I would take her everywhere and wouldn't go anywhere without her," Naidu said.
