Danish accused in genital case drops bail bid
Updated | By Mark Steenbok
The Danish man accused of surgically removing female genital parts, which were found in his freezer, has abandoned his application for bail in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.

The case against the man, who cannot be named before he has pleaded, has been postponed for further investigation after new charges were added.
They include the possession of child pornography and the manufacturing of pornography.
He has also previously been fined for illegal possession of an elephant tusk, and is allegedly wanted in Denmark for illegal firearm transactions.
There have also been allegations that he may be linked to the murder of two women in Lesotho.
The 63-year-old man, who was arrested at his Langenhoven Park townhouse will again appear in court in December to determine whether the case should be heard in another court.
