DA ropes in ‘expert team’ to probe uMngeni chief whip murder

The DA in KZN says it's roped in an expert team to investigate the murder of uMngeni Municipality Chief Whip, Nhlalayenza Ndlovu.

The Democratic Alliance member was shot dead at his home in Mpophomeni last month.
No arrests have been made.

The party's provincial leader, Francois Rodgers, says the team includes international investigators who deal primarily with political killing cases.
"It’s a team made up of South African components, components from the United Kingdom and USA. So that is the team we've got together. We are also in the process of engaging with a prosecutorial team, which, once the arrest has been made, we will ensure that there's proper prosecution in this particular case."
