The Democratic Alliance (DA) will be at the North Gauteng High Court this afternoon, where the court will hear arguments over President Jacob Zuma's decision to reshuffle his cabinet.

Last month, the DA filed an urgent application with the North Gauteng High court to request the President's decision to remove both Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan, and Deputy Finance Minister, Mcebisi Jonas, to be set aside.
The party cited the decision as being irrational, and therefore unconstitutional, unlawful and invalid.
The DA's Federal Executive Chairperson, James Selfe, says the party believes it is entitled to know the reasons behind the decision taken.
"The reasons on the face of it appeared to be irrational and if they were irrational then they were illegal and therefore unconstitutional", says Selfe.
Selfe says President Zuma was well informed of the repercussions of firing Gordhan and Jonas.
"Exactly the same thing happened 15 months before when Nhlanhla Nene was fired from cabinet. We have suffered catastrophic consequences on our economy and we have been downgraded to junk status", adds Selfe.
