DA demands release of report on KZN Ezemvelo
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
The Democratic Alliance in KwaZulu-Natal is demanding the release of a forensic report into allegations of maladministration at Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife.
The agency's entire board was suspended by the then Environmental Affairs MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube.
An investigation into alleged mismanagement was also launched.
The DA's KZN spokesperson on the environment Heinz De Boer says authorities have been cagey about the developments around the probe.

"The findings of this investigation, if it has even started, have not even been made public to the provincial conservation committee and the public simply doesn't know what is happening with this investigation.
"The recently released rhino poaching report, which was gained and made public by the DA after a PAIA application has proven that there is substantial evidence that certain board members of Ezemvelo deliberately interfered in the running and the daily operations of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife."
