The party's Shadow Minister of Transport - Chris Hunsinger says they've been inundated with complaints from motorists - who couldn't finalise their vehicle registrations before the August 31st deadline.

The Minister gazetted an extension to the end of August - while motorists also had the benefit of a 21-day grace period - which ends tomorrow.

Hunsinger has questioned why a further extension has been granted for other licences such as drivers and for trade - but not for licence discs.
