Culpable homicide case opened after N2 crash

KwaZulu-Natal police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a fatal crash on the N2 near Mobeni, south of Durban.

A 26-year-old man was killed in a triple-vehicle crash yesterday.

The police's Thembeka Mbele says several other people were taken to hospital with various injuries.
“The information we have at the moment is that a driver, travelling along Higginson Highway, lost control of his vehicle and collided with oncoming traffic,” she says.
