COVID-19: SA records over 2 000 new cases

SA COVID-19 cases now stand 749 182.

This follows 2 237 new cases recorded in past 24 hours.
53 new deaths have also been confirmed by the national Health Department with one of them taking place in our province.
This now means the total number of COVID-19 deaths in SA is at 20 206.
The Health department also expressed concern about the risk faced by those with diabetes on World Diabetes Day yesterday.
Gauteng leads all province with 231 479 cases, followed by KZN with 124 774 and the Western Cape with 121 327 COVID-19 cases.
