COVID-19: SA records over 1 900 new cases

South Africa has recorded 1 928 fresh Coronovirus cases in the last 24 hours taking our total number of cases to 702 131.
The Health Minister has also has shared that a total of 38 deaths have been recorded within the same period. 10 of the COVID-19 deaths were from the Eastern Cape, 10 from the Free State, 17 from Gauteng and 1 from Mpumalanga.
This pushes the national figure fatalities from the virus to 18 408.
A provincial breakdown shows the leading provinces with the highest cases are Gauteng 224 863, KZN 121 174 and Western Cape 114 181.
The good news though is that our recovery rate stands at 90%.
