COVID-19: SA cases now at 810 449

This after 4 645 new cases were recorded prompting our Health Minister to urge citizens to be extra cautious especially going into the festive season.

Gauteng still leads with 237 207 cases followed by by Western Cape with 138 951 cases and Easern Cape comes in third at 135 468. 


There has been growing concerns of a second wave as South Africans will be socialising more these holidays and gathering in numbers. 


Just this week the president called on citizens to not let their guard down saying we cannot afford to go back to the dark days of levels 5 and 4 of lockdown.


During his national address the president also announced stricter measures for Nelson Mandela Bay as it was declared a national hotspot.
