COVID-19 related deaths spike in North West

The number of deaths due to COVID-19 has passed the 54 000 mark in South Africa.

The Health Department confirmed 71 more fatalities in the last 24 hours.
Now, after reporting zero deaths for the past two days, the North West confirmed 40 fatalities in the province.
cases while the recovery rate stands at 95 percent.
In KZN the number of active cases stands at just over 5000.
