COVID-19 outbreak forces Richmond municipality office closure

Richmond local municipality says their offices will only be operational as of Monday as it undergoes decontamination.

This after an outbreak of Covid-19, which saw the municipality closing it's doors on Thursday. More than five staff members tested positive for coronavirus.
The municipality's Sibonelo Bhengu says the virus has also claimed the life of one official.
"We have more than five staff members who have tested positive while we are awaiting the results of others", he said.
"We have also lost one seniour official on Thursday morning", Bhengu said.
