Court rules matric results may be published

High Court in Pretoria rules matric results may be published.

It has granted Afriforum and two others applicants an urgent interdict against the Department of Basic Education.
This means that the matric results will be published on media platforms, when they're released on Friday.

The lobby group launched the challenge after the department said that it had decided not publish the NSC results in newspapers this year - citing rules contained in the Protection of Personal Information Act.
