In the case against Jacob Zuma's new political outfit, the ANC accuses the party of breaching trademark laws by adopting the MK name and logo.

"Historically the name uMkhonto we Sizwe was the arm wing of the ANC now from there judgment will obviously be based on the impact it will have on the voters. The court should look at it in the sense it there is a clear distinction between the two parties and the ANC as to not incorrectly influence the voter.”

The Electoral Court recently ruled in favour of former president Jacob Zuma to contest the elections.
