The Roodepoort Magistrate's Court on Wednesday heard that the real killers of Kaizer Chiefs player Luke Fleurs could still be at large.
The six men accused of the 24-year-old's hijacking and murder in Honeydew returned to court for a continuation of their bail application.
They were arrested last month.

According to the State, cell phone records show that an unknown person told accused number 4, Franky Xaba, that if they were to be arrested for the crime, they should confess to protect the said person's identity.
Earlier, state prosecutor Shadrack Temeki read the investigating officer’s statement when opposing bail...
"The applicant's action of hiding the motor vehicle is understood to be protecting the real suspects who are still at large. This is evidence from the intercepted communication.”
