Court grants more time for nurses after exam leaked
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Health workers union, Hospersa, has welcomed a court order around leaked exam papers scheduled to be rewritten by nurses.

The Bridging Course examinations were last month arranged to be rewritten this week, after the South African Nursing Council discovered that the papers had been released beforehand.
The council nullified the results saying it's trying to find the source of the security breach.

Hospersa went to court to have the papers rescheduled for next month.
Noel Desfontaines, says they are pleased that nurses will be given more time to prepare.
"Firstly, there was no proper consultations between the counsel and the trade unions with what is going on. We communicated with the counsel, requesting them to withdraw the circular which they did not. We had no other option but to approach the court," he said.
