Cosatu nation-wide strike to go ahead: Mkhize
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Cosatu in KZN is optimistic a nation-wide strike later this month will help bring down labour brokers.
The trade union giant's been speaking after it held its Provincial Shopstewards Council in Durban yesterday.
The federation addressed shop stewards on preparations ahead of the strike.
"More jobs must be created for our people. We stand against labour brokers - an ongoing campaign for Cosatu - and the issue of privatisation of electricity through the independent power producers. Those are the demands that we are making," Cosatu’s Edwin Mkhize says.
