The Congress of SA Students says its members will come out in their numbers to support our ex-president who heads back to the Durban High Court tomorrow for his corruption case.

The group's Kheta Mjodi says they've asked their members to be there.

"You are innocent until proven guilty. Currently, the president is still innocent until he is proven guilty," Mjodi said.

Scores of students gathered at Durban City Hall yesterday, where Zuma made an appearance during a Cosas free education event.

Speaking at the event, Zuma said fee-free education should've been introduced years ago. He says education will liberate those suppressed during apartheid.

"Education is a serious matter. When we got our freedom, we forgot about the elements that make education so important. We should have declared free education over ten years ago," he said.
