Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize says the risk of resurgence
remains, but South Africans must be commended for rallying together in the
fight against COVID-19.
“We cannot be complacent,” Mkhize said.
“It has been a long journey but what has made it manageable is that South Africans rallied together.”
“The first thing we must do is salute all our health workers, they are our heroes, they have made us look back and say South Africa we have done it. Even though the pandemic is still on but at this point we are over the surge,” Mkhize added.
