Cops raid KZN home amid crackdown on online child predators
Updated | By Newswatch
South African and
US police teams cracking down on online child predators have raided the home of
a KZN man.
The 60-year-old man was found with thousands of images and videos of child pornography,” says national SAPS spokesperson Athlenda Mathe.
“He forms part of the 27 online child sexual predators that have been identified in South Africa by a joint international operation led by the SAPS’ Serial and Electronic Investigations unit and the USA Department of Homeland Security. "
Mathe says this brings to four the number of people arrested by the teams this week.

"Three others were arrested in Gauteng. The SAPS calls on parents to monitor their children’s devices, such as tablets and phones, daily to prevent more children from becoming victims of such criminal activities.”
