Cops launch manhunt after guard shot dead outside Greyville Racecourse

A security guard was shot dead outside the Greyville Racecourse this morning during an alleged business robbery.
The man was allegedly trying to alert patrons to the robbery when he was fatally wounded.
Police have confirmed, five suspects are on the run, following the murder of a security guard believed to be in his forties.

It is understood that they were attempting to rob a betting facility at the racecourse when the man intervened. They then shot him in the chest before they fled the scene.
A private security company which was on the scene claims the suspects did not take anything from the business.
Police say they have launched a search for the suspects.
