Cops believe drugs behind deadly Durban shooting

KZN police say drug-related activities cannot be ruled out
as the cause of the mass shooting in Umbumbulu, south of Durban.
Six people were shot and killed at a house in the area on Saturday night.
Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says community members heard the gunshots and reported the matter.
Netshiunda says detectives descended on the scene, and the bodies were removed.

“Four we found laying in the bedroom, one next to the gate and the owner of the house was found dead not far from home. Two of the victims are siblings, aged 21 and 16b years old.
“The owner of the house was suspected of being involved in criminal activities dealing in drugs and theft. The motive of the killings are unknown."
