Cope joins anti-Zuma march on Freedom Day
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Opposition party COPE, other parties and civil society movements who believe it's time for President Jacob Zuma to resign, will be marching to the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Freedom Day.
This comes after the Constitutional Court ruled that Zuma had violated his Constitutional duties by not implementing the Public Protector's remedial action on non-security upgrades to his Nkandla home.
A gathering was held at the University of Johannesburg this weekend by the organisers of the event.

Cope spokeperson, Dennis Bloem has been calling for South Africans to join the march.
"We are calling upon all citizens who oppose and who wants to withhold the Constitution who are respecting the Constitution to join this march because the ANC and Mr Zuma does not have any respect for the rule of law and for the Constitution of this country," he said.
The ANC has accepted Zuma's apology over Nkandla - with the president saying he never meant to disrespect the Office of the Public Protector.
