Consumers will be hit hard by rising fuel prices: economist

An organisation protesting against the continued increase in fuel prices feels another hike will push the country's poverty levels up even further.
The People Against Petrol Price Increases has been reacting to the possibility of another hike in August.
The organisation's Visvin Reddy believes motorists and consumers are already paying too much.

Economists believe that the price of fuel - could increase by around 20 cents per litre of petrol.
