CONFIRMED: Maths paper 2 leaked several hours before exam

The Department of Basic Education has
confirmed the Maths Paper 2, that was written this morning was leaked.
It says some matric pupils in Limpopo and Gauteng had the exam several hours before Grade 12s started writing it at 9am.
The department says the content in the leaked paper matches that in today's paper.
Spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga says they're trying to determine the extent of the leak, and its source.
“Initial indications are that the paper leak was confined to a few learners. It looks as if the it was shared via WhatsApp. We are continuing to implement our safety and security protocols,’ Mhlanga said.
“We are concerned about the credibility and integrity of the examinations and we are going to do everything we can to protect the image of the examinations,” he added.
