Concourt has confirmed I did my job: Madonsela
Public Protector Thuli Madonsela says she views the Nkandla matter as a blessing.
Madonsela's been reacting to this morning's ruling by the Constitutional Court which clarified the role of her office in effecting remedial action.
The court found that President Jacob Zuma failed to uphold, defend and respect South Africa's Constitution.
Madonsela said while some may view the saga as a problem, it however helped define the Public Protector's role in dealing with improper conduct.
She says in the modern state different levels of democracy are required to maintain checks and balances.
