Concerns over drug-related conviction levels
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The Anti-Drug Forum says it's concerned about the low drug related convictions that are being made in KZN.

The forum praised the police for nabbing two suspects, who allegedly ran a dagga lab worth R2-million in Durban North on Thursday.
Police also arrested a 26-year-old in Wentworth on Wednesday, in possession of various drugs estimated at R60 000. Although happy with the arrests the Forum's Sam Pillay says not many drug suspects get jail time.
"For some reasons cases do not result in the drug dealers closing shop permanently. They still run with someone else taking over", he said.
"We would like to see those shops close for good. We would also like to see more convictions which is not happening at a level we would like to see", Pillay said.
